A DAY-LONG CONVERSATION ON

TRAUMA, RITUAL & THE PROMISE OF THE MONSTROUS

With Resmaa Menakem, Bayo Akomolafe, and Orland Bishop. Tracing the diaspora in reverse, this multicultural workshop series will take place on three continents.

I’m excited to be presenting during this two day conference as well as designing and creating an interactive installation that will welcome guests at the Los Angeles event.

June 24th | Japanese Cultural and Community Center for individuals identifying as Black men

June 25th | Japanese Cultural and Community Center open to all. This event will also be live streamed HERE

The journey continues making it’s way to Salvador, Brazil on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 and weaves its way to Accra, Ghana on Dec. 16 and Dec. 17.

People can participate in one or multiple workshops either in-person on through livestream.
